Artists are normal human beings, some fans are way too harsh on teenage artists that make mistakes, like they weren't doing the same but just not in the public eye.
I believe its good to critic ones art, but we as fans shouldn't be caring about relationship dramas of artists that we do not know personally. I think social media has a part to play in this. It's allowed artists to reveal an increased amount of their personal life to the public. Even though they might put it out their themselves, we still need to separate that from the music.
In sensitive times many artists get called out to support a cause. My argument to this, is that aren't activist. Some artist just want to make money and go. Might not be the right thing but who are we tell them otherwise. When fans FORCE artists to speak out, it just looks like the artist isn't being sincere. Leave it to the ones that genuinely want to help speak because the effort from them will be unmatched compared to rappers/singers who have been forced to talk. You see what Stormzy is doing right?
When we start accepting artists for who they are we will have less agendas in music.
